Updates from the last few months (Halloween to come later)...

October:
North Logan Pumpkin Festival!

Family with our "adopted" daughter Reese. Just kidding, her family was there too, along with Janae, and Reese just wanted in the picture.

Tyler practicing his Jedi moves.

September:
Zermatt Resort!

Brett had a conference in Midway, near Heber at the Zermatt Resort and Tyler and I hung out at these spots:
Feeding the goats. Below, later in the evening it rained and all the goats crowded under this little bit of shelter. Poor, funny goats.

Playing life-sized chess. And below, went swimming to the most awesome pool ever; it connected from the inside to the outside, and had two different hot tubs. The inside hot tub had a running waterfall, as you'll see in a few pictures down.

My cousin Deanna's wedding!

Brett on a swing with my cousin Mike's daughter, Sasha, and Tyler. Below, Tyler fell in the little fish pond in the background during the reception. You can see that all the kids were fascinated with the pond, and Tyler just had to be the one to fall in!

Also this month, Tyler went to a USU Aggies football game, and has had Aunt Janae live with us for a little while, which means we go out on fun hikes and visit other family members around Logan.

August:
Kayson's blessing! It was a long day for Kayson. Below, AnnDee holding K-man in a baby sling I made for them. He didn't really like it.
Kyle and Lindsey's wedding!

Lindsey and Kyle coming out of the SLC Temple after they were married.

Tyler's frown cracks me up. These were our family pictures taken outside the Salt Lake Temple.

My side of the family at Kyle and Lindsey's reception in Vernal. We are all here (l-r): Josh (my baby bro), Mike (AnnDee's hubby), AnnDee holding their baby Kayson, Allen (2nd to youngest bro), Kyle (bro) with his new wife Lindsey, my Dad, my Mom, Tyler, me and Brett.

My baby is 4!

It seems like only yesterday that Tyler was born. He was so tiny (5 pounds 12 ounces), but long for his size (19 inches). He was born August 10, 2005 at 5:33pm and our lives have never been the same.

If we didn't have Tyler, we would have never know his innocence at birth,

his growth and silliness at one,

his playfulness at two,

his messiness at three,

and his sweetness at four.

We love this little turkey and are so glad he's gotten so big and that he's ours forever.

Buck-naked

I found Tyler just hanging out in his bathroom the other day, buck-naked! He's singing in the bathroom (I didn't get video of it):

Jack, our new bunny

A few weeks ago, we decided we wanted another bunny to fill the void of losing Egg. So I checked around, and there was a family that needed to find a new home for their bunny, Jack. We got together, and now have Jack. He's named after Jack Sparrow from Pirates because of the black circles around his eyes.

Jack likes to shred newspaper, so we keep some in his cage. He's still shy, but adjusting to us. He's so soft and has a very different personality from Egg, but it's been fun to get to know him.

Besides calling him Jack, or Jack Sparrow, I sometimes like to call him Jack Jack from Incredibles, or Jackie Chan because he hops around his cage so fast it's like he's doing martial arts. Here he is putting his paws up on his food dish. And he's full grown, so he won't get as big as Egg, which is just great for his cage.

A few random pictures

Just a few random pictures of our new townhouse in Logan. These are for you Nicole!

Tyler outside, ready to go swimming. A neighbor kid hopped in the picture.

Tyler and Brett hanging out in the living room. They have matching Hawaiian shirts that they wore to a luau we went to.

Tribute to Egg

Our sweet bunny, Egg aka Eggie, died at the beginning of July. We had just moved to Logan and it was so hot, I think he died of heat exhaustion. We love him and miss him but are doing better now. We had Egg for a year and Tyler had caught him at a kids' rodeo (see this link from summer of 08--scroll down for a bit.) Here are a couple of pictures to remember him by.

Egg hadn't grown into his ears yet.

Eggie hopping through a can.

Egg on Tyler's lap outside the house we rented in Vernal before we moved to Logan. Egg had fully grown into his ears by then! A friend who helped us move wondered if he was food storage because he was so big! Don't worry, though; we buried him (thanks to Annette and Larry for letting us bury him in your woods).

Eggie standing on his hind legs looking up through his cage.

Brett's desk that Allen (my brother) made

Here is Brett's desk, already assembled and moved into his office. My little bro, Allen, made the desk and it's beautiful! Great work, Allen. You are so talented.

We've successfully moved AND have the internet

We have moved to Logan and are still living in boxes. We don't really have a lot left to unpack though. We finally have the internet, so pictures will come shortly. Thanks to all who helped us move!

We're moving...for the hundredth time

We are moving back to Logan! Brett got a job there where he will be a practicing attorney. I'm not sure how Tyler feels about this. He likes Logan, but isn't sure about moving. I've told him we will still visit family a lot. He's going to miss Grandma, Grandpa, AnnDee, Mike, Kayson, Allen, Josh, his friend Tek, and all the other family and friends that live here. We're excited! Kyle and Lindsey are super excited to get sunday dinners out of us!

Exciting news!

Two pieces of exciting news: Tyler's aunt AnnDee had her baby on May 6th. AnnDee and uncle Mike named him Kayson James Tracy. He's a cutie and Tyler was so excited to have a cousin on his mommy's side of the family and have a cousin that lives close by us. Congrats AnnDee and Mike!

Also, Tyler's uncle Kyle got engaged this past Mother's Day weekend! He is engaged to Lindsey Christansen. They'll get married sometime in August. Congrats Kyle and Lindsey!

We still only have access to internet at grandma and grandpa's, so I'll post these fabulous pictures soon!
